The gradient treatment is dyed into the fibers of the mesh base, with cool tones coming out from underneath the synthetic panels that wrap right on top. As it moves towards the vamp, the blue color relaxes and quickly changes to a brighter white, which matches the overlapping leathers, laces and most accessories adjacent to the pair of Air Max Plus 3. But while tinted primarily in achromatic shades, the tooling and heel counter of this Tuned 3 make a nice contrast as they provide dark blue decals in a simple text and a futuristic decal, respectively. As usual, the model still features the "TN Air" logo on the tongue and heel.
