The Air Max is wrapped in a black mesh upper with subtle overlays of white leather and orange denim. There is also a white TPU reinforcement in the heel area, as well as several black and orange elements that match the city's flag. Other finishes include a "Los Angeles" on the heels, a lace-up jewel with 1991 on one foot and 2001 on the other, and a palm tree branding in orange and purple on the outsoles to finish it off. There are also subtle touches of purple embedded in the air bubbles on the underside of the sole and tongue.
