This Nike Air Max 90 NRG Bacon is a reissue of the Air Max Bacon released in 2004, following the collaboration between Nike and Dave Ortiz, creator of the DQM (Dave's Quality Meat) store. The 2021 version of this Air Max 90 is inspired, for its color palette, the different stages of cooking a slice of pork belly, the bacon. The colors range from pink for the Swoosh, to red and brown for suede and suede inserts, with a white leather base. Gray is also found on this Air Max 90 Bacon, at the sides of the pair. Brown TPU inserts, with horizontal lines are visible at the eyelets, the top of the heel with the logo "Nike Air", the outsole and finally at the usual air cushioning of the sole.
To finalize the design, a touch of beige was added for the laces and the inner lining of this Nike Air Max 90 Bacon, which makes it even more aesthetic.
