Nike has launched yet another Crepe version of its iconic Air Max 1 with the latest drop being the "Light Bone" edition. In light of the successful "Soft Grey" drop of 2023, Nike sensed the high demand for tasteful Air Max 1s among sneakerheads. To take it further, Nike combined the split-mudguard with the "Light Bone" iteration, creating an aesthetically pleasing combination.

The construction of the shoe primarily consists of soft beige and cream hues with a beige midsole complementing the usual gum tooling of the crepe sole. As for the upper part, the underlay panels are crafted in a soft cream leather with contrasting dark suede overlays, inspired by the palette of the Air Max 1 "Beige Safari". The Swoosh also features a scaley finish, reminiscent of the brand’s previous "Safari"-inspired designs for women's exclusives. The highlight of the shoe is the denim mudguard, showcasing various shades of light blue that augment the split design, which was first introduced in the Air Max 1 “Master” edition of 2017. Since then, the split-mudguard has made a comeback on the "Magma Orange" iteration and now on this release, hinting at its permanence in the sneaker community.
